Basing Guide: How to Design and Build Better Bases

Raise your hand if you take the time to design and build your basing schemes before you ever consider painting your miniatures. There are a lot of artist in our community doing great things with their basing, but when I look out over the masses I see that basing is much more of an after thought than it is a core element of the end product. As I’ve said many times before, environment is key in the grimdark style. So, I want to challenge the community to look at basing and environment in a different light and begin designing basing schemes at the forefront of their projects. If you are not sure what I mean then check out this course as I will explain my insights on where I think we should be with basing our miniatures.
