Weathering Technique: Blistered Metal

I always strive to find a way to recreate real-world effects in my miniature painting. Sometimes I come up with highly experimental techniques. This is one of them. Before you watch this tutorial, please understand that this technique is designed and intended to be used on resin models (mostly vehicles) or scratch-built terrain that does not contain plastic parts. Using this method to apply textures is highly destructive to plastic surfaces. Enjoy!

Amazing! Any idea on how to go about creating this effect on plastic models?

I haven’t riddled that one out yet. Most likely, you would need a texture paste.
