I’m sorry but this recipe is a straight up copy of Richard Gray’s grimdark imperial fist recipe.

    1. Zatcaskagoon Miniatures says:

Doubt it. This video was created several years ago and I highly doubt Teemu would look at someone like Richard Gray for inspiration.

    2. Thomas Long says:

I’d agree with you but then we’d both be wrong.

      1. Using XV-88 as a base over black primer isn’t a Richard Grey copyright, it’s a ‘Eavy Metal technique from the 1990s. Hint: it was called Bestial Brown.
      2. Stippling base coats on to achieve a “grimdark/battle worn” look isn’t a Richard Grey copyright, it’s a common practice.
      3. The use of Scale75 Hykey Yellow would be the only obvious choice for a grimdark yellow, as it is both the most muted tone and Scale75 paints are high pigment which brings in a natural contrast.
      4. While Richard Grey is an amazing artist, he’s not a Grimdark one. His “grimdark” work pails in comparison to Teemu, Zatcaskagoon, The Feral Painter, Black Chalice and more found here.
      5. I’m copying this recipe, guess I’ll be ripping off Gravehammer.
      6. You have something on your chin….
