I have a question. I’m new to using this medium but I’m loving it but I’m struggling with one thing. I’m doing a step by step on these guys that have been on my desk since before I found the channel. The issue is with the skin using 100% oil. I made sure to get rid of the linseed oil at the top of the tube and get pure oil for use. I applied very thin (as in the video)… any thinner and I can see the undercoat. 3 days later and it’s technically still wet though. I feel like it HAS TO BE a linseed oil problem but idk. First time using oils.

If you have drawn out the linseed oil, then you may too heavily loaded on the brush. It takes very little oil.
