Skaven Brood Terror – Episode 02 – Painting Guide

In the first episode Black Chalice Studio will walk you through his design philosophy on creating a unique vision of this miniature, including how to model realistic cloth, scratch building, and the use of additional materials to add depth, texture and detail. In this episode we will also see the use of various methods and materials to create a weathered and atmospheric sewer base.

In episode two, we will see how to paint the Brood Terror in a realistic, macabre and grimdark style.
With a heavy emphasis on textures, use of the surface manipulation and pre weathering techniques, special effects such as gore and decay application, colour filtering, different ways to approach the reductive technique, and extensive use of Villainy Ink.
