meet your new go-to enamel colors

Villainy Ink Enamel Washes & Effects are enamel based colors that will forever change the way you paint miniatures.
Being enamel colors, they mix with mineral/white spirits, and you are free to manipulate or remove them as you see fit.

Each Villainy Ink has its own personality, consistency, finishes and a variety of intended uses, however you will discover that these paints give you unparalleled freedom and control, along with very forgiving drying times before they cure.
Use them neat straight out of the bottle, create washes thinning them with mineral spirits, let them mix with each other on your models to achieve incredible effects, or remove the excess using a cotton bud/make up sponge slightly damp with mineral spirits.

Enamel Washes

The Washes range of Villainy Ink is perfect for your unifying washes, grime effects, shading and weathering.
Versatile, easy to use, essential for the Grimdark Style.

  • Goon’s Grime: the perfect all-purpose grime color. Dark brown, slightly yellow-ish green hue.
Perfect through airbrush or by brush, and dries matte.
  • Sector Rust: a deep, rich iron oxide rust wash.
    Dries matte.
  • Dystopian Brown: a warm brown for either general weathering for dirt, or perfect to breathe life and temperature to flesh. Dries matte to satin.
  • Decay of Death: a greyish-green decay effect, suitable for recreating decayed material, sickening deathly deposits, fungal spores or moss.
Dries matte and chalky, can leave a slight texture if used neat.

Enamel Effects

The Effects are the “technical” range of Villainy Ink, intended to recreate special effects that often leave a satin to gloss finish, or contain granules for mottling purposes.

  • Ichor of the Damned: a black wash for crevice washing, general darkening, or wet oily effects.
Dries matte to satin to gloss depending on application.
  • Carrion Crimson: a deep dark red with a touch of purple, intended for flesh tones or irritated areas. Contains granulated pigments, dries satin to gloss.
Can also be used for subtle gore effects.
  • Coelia Green: a dark turquoise that brings cold hues to your flesh tones.
Contains granulated pigments, dries satin to gloss.
Can also be used for subtle patina effects.
