Raise your hand if you take the time to design and build your basing schemes before you ever consider painting your miniatures. There are a lot of artist in our community doing great things with their basing, but when I look out over the masses I see that basing is much more of an after thought than it is a core element of the end product. As I’ve said many times before, environment is key in the grimdark style. So, I want to challenge the community to look at basing and environment in a different light and begin designing basing schemes at the forefront of their projects.
If you are not sure what I mean then check out this course as I will explain my insights on where I think we should be with basing our miniatures.
