Hey do you know whre to get that fly fishing material ? All the stuff I have found has super long fur
Squrriel Fur is nice. Any fly fishing supply shop should have it.
The series is fantastic and captivating. The download links for episodes 5 and 6 don’t work however.
Can you email me at info@grimdarkcompendium.com with the links that you have so that I can check them?
Done! Thanks for the help
I’ve been waiting on the edge of my seat for the skaven episode and holding out hope for a grimdark tutorial for skaven for some time. June 1st will be like Christmas.
Incoming!
I have learned so many techniques from this series. Stunning from start to finish
Metal AF
What did you use for the cheese cloth? That brown liquid to apply it on the model.
It’s just AK Dark Earth texture paste, highly diluted in water. PVA glue, water and a very little amount of Dark Earth give the cheese cloth/paper mache a good finish and durability.
This series is beyond anything I’ve seen before in terms of detail and production quality. Bingeable.
Awesome! Thank you!
This episode was mindblowing, can’t wait to try all these techniques!
You guys should do a course similar to this one but for kill team!
This series is perfect. I would like to see notes included for the materials, paints, model kits, stls, etc that are used in the production. Would it be possible to get them? I feel like it would add a lot of value.
Hot tip for anyone wanting to create a Concept Board / Mood Board, there’s a much quicker way than the method demonstrated.
Download the free program “PureRef” – it’s made for this exact purpose. From there, you can literally Right-click->Copy Image from your web browser, paste it into PureRef and then resize/drag it around. The canvas size will continue to expand automatically as you need more room. This skips a LOT of steps if you use the Photoshop/Paint.net method. You won’t need to download images and spend the time opening and then moving them into a central canvas, so you can save a ton of time.
If you’re using a website that blocks “copying” or downloading images (Instagram, etc), you can always use Firefox’s Right-click->”Take Screenshot” feature, or the Windows Snipping Tool.
This series was superb. Fantastic work.
ty ty!
This series is my favorite set of hobby videos period and I have watched a ton of them. It completely floored me, hyped me to get into Mordheim and keeps teaching me new things. Really, really well done.
Great series, Sturmgaard just transcended himself. All the secrets and ways to achieve certain effects etc I’ve learned from those vids made me so much better in kit-bashing and the painting/weathering process. Watched it from the first second till the last and all I can say is. WOW!!! Thanx for sharing this gem.
Thank you so much for your words! Can’t wait to see your work, feel free to share it on our Discord or Facebook group. I’m happy to hear you enjoyed this.
Nothing is opening for me. Maybe the link is not working for iOS or I’m doing something wrong.
